Students had the opportunity to sing and dance to their favorite song at Reed’s first Fall Harvest Virtual Dance. Letters were written to Veterans thanking them for their service and patriotism. Furthermore, our Thanksgiving Turkey Grab & Go made possible by Reed’s PTA, the faculty, their families, and students provided Thanksgiving meals for more than 100 families. In addition, Reed’s cafeteria staff donated over 200 bagged meals. I would like to thank everyone who made these events possible. It was truly a team effort. Our character value for the month of December is Citizenship. Throughout this month, we will stress the importance of doing your share to make your home, school, community, and greater world better. Let us practice the character of citizenship this month and beyond. Furthermore, let me share how you can earn Pride Points this month: Attending school everyday Participating in the YES I Can Program Completing the Student Climate Survey (Earn 5 points) On a final note, I have also included in this letter Reed’s December Calendar of events. Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de cantar y bailar su canción favorita en el primer baile virtual de otoño de Reed. Se escribieron cartas a los Veteranos agradeciéndoles por su servicio y patriotismo. Además, nuestro Grab & Go de Pavo de Acción de Gracias hecho posible por la PTA de Reed, la facultad, sus familias y los estudiantes proporcionaron comidas de Acción de Gracias para más de 100 familias.
